55-65 days. A compact butterhead with an outstanding flavor and attractive appearance. Matina Sweet is very heat tolerant, making it an excellent choice for growing in the warmer parts of summer, but it also performed well in our fall trials. Minty green, semi-tight heads reach 7 1/2 inches wide and 4-6 inches tall. The creamy white interior has a wonderfully sweet butterhead taste.
